- Always think how you want your website to look. Plan its creation in detail. You can also use sketches or just some guidelines so you don’t forget any of the ideas.

- What you are looking for is to attract visitors, potential customers, so you should use relaxing and attracting colors. Do not use very bright colors to disturb the eye, but you shouldn’t use dark color either. You should blend colors the right way to create a great relaxing and attracting effect, so that your visitors will love browsing through the website.

- Give special attention to your header. That is the main picture of the site. It is the first thing your visitor will see after the site loads.

- Analyze the market. Target the people you want to attract to your site. Design the website after the targeted visitors needs.

- Finish the website and start promoting it. You can do this by buying online advertising, promoting on forums or just by word of mouth. Online advertising is a bit expensive for growing sites, but it has the best conversion rate.

You should always check your website to see its progress. If you see that the results are not the ones you expected, start tweaking and editing it, until you get the results you want. Basically, creating a great design is trial and error.

First thing you need to do when creating a website is to visualize the idea in your mind. You need to create the concept of the website. Think about what your site will be like, what you want it to express and say to its visitors at first sight. Then think about your target audience: demographics, age range, gender, income etc. These factors tend to influence your sites impact on the audience.

The second thing you need to do is to find a web hosting company that can provide the hosting package that your site requires. You should carefully check each hosting package, to see if its features are the best for your website. Web hosting services are not expensive. You can find great hosting packages for as low as 10-15$ per month.

Ok, on to the website. You should always start with designing the first page (homepage). After you create the layout for your first page it is easier to create other sub-pages based on the homepage layout. You can find thousands of tutorials on how to create a great website design.

After finishing the website you should check loading speed and navigation. The smaller your loading speed is, the faster your site will load. You really want a fast loading website. Sites that take too long to load tend to drive visitors away from the site. Also check the navigation to see if your links are sending the visitors to the right pages. You do not want errors in the navigation section. This kind of errors can send your visitor into a 404 Error Page, and you certainly do not want that.

After you’re all done, upload the images and pages to your web host and you’re off into the online business world. Always remember, your goal is to attract visitors and convert them from simple visitors to customers. Tweaking and improving your website is an endless process. Your site will never be “as good as it can get” if you don’t improve it on a regular basis.

So, what does each company do? They hire somebody to design their webpage or product page, in order to sell their product online.
Each designer has his own style, depending on what the customer requires. What all designers have in common is graphics.

Nowadays, more and more people call themselves designers, but few of them only know how to arrange images and add text to produce a good and attracting webpage. Everybody knows that a picture is worth a thousand words. If we adapt this saying to the internet business, we would understand that the first thing a webpage has to do is to attract customers through its look and feel.
